Sheet2Timeline - Generate Timeline from Google Spreadsheets

Convert a Google Sheet doc into a gantt/timeline, beautifully display running initiatives with their progress, effort vs buffer, owners, and milestones along the way.

How To Use:

Create your own spreadsheet, use this template to quickly start with the relevant columns.
To import your spreadsheet you can do either of those 2 options:

  1. Public Sheet - Share your spreadsheet by setting the Sharing options to Anyone on the internet with this link can view.
    Grab the ID portion of the document's URL, e.g: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X72afGWHxZJkR-_ouGYFs2pEbak0G2ykAwJQWV5GuGg => the ID is 1X72afGWHxZJkR-_ouGYFs2pEbak0G2ykAwJQWV5GuGg.
    Input this ID into Spreadsheet ID field bellow.
  2. Private Sheet - Switch to Private Sheet mode and sign in with your Google account. You can browse your latest spreadsheets by pressing on Get recent spreadsheets from Google Drive, otherwise you can grab the ID as in Public Sheet method.

* Pro tip: You can customize the generated timeline right from the sheet itself, change cell height & weight, font size, work days and show/hide elements. Check out the Config tab in the template sheet.
